Brienz

Brienz is known as a carving village and has a long tradition of woodworking. The homely village is surrounded by a charming mountain landscape at the end of the turquoise coloured Lake Brienz. Since 1892, a steam railway has brought guests from all over the world from Brienz to the Rothorn, opening up breathtaking views. On the opposite side, Lake Brienz enraptures, into which the Giessbach Falls pour over 14 steps.

Leissigen, situated directly on the shores of Lake Thun, is an ideal starting point for an eventful and relaxing holiday. The local lakeside resort entices you to take a refreshing dip in the lake and the 142 m long suspension bridge over the Spissibach offers magnificent views. In addition, Leissigen is known for its spectacular sunsets over Lake Thun.
