Although Lago di Lugano is somewhat smaller, it is probably the most beautiful lake to explore by boat thanks to its several side arms. Excursions to the former fishing villages such as Gandria, situated at the foot of Monte Brè, or Morcote, which was voted the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2016, are particularly recommended. But the stops with the grotti opposite Gandria are also worth a visit. Longer journeys to the villages of Caslano or Pontre Tresa on the quieter part of Lake Lugano are also highly recommended.

For a one-week stay you have 6 days of free travel, for a two-week stay you enjoy 13 days of free travel. The free travel is valid for the days of your stay, but not on the day of arrival and departure.
