In the holidayMANUscript we have described 10 excursions and 10 hikes for you in detail as suggestions. You can do them exactly as described or in a modified form. So you have the choice of what you would like to do. It is very important to us that you can arrange and carry out your trip according to your individual wishes and ideas.

Timetable booklet

So that you also know how to carry out these excursions and hikes in detail, we have created a matching timetable booklet. In it, you will find the connection recommended by us for each excursion and hike. We have also included information on opening times and restaurants.

Folding map

As a third aid, you will receive our folding map with the area of validity of your MANU regionalPASS. This allows you to see at a glance which routes are included in the price and which routes are not.

On the left picture you can see the description of the excursion "Monte San Salvatore and Lugano" in Ticino. In addition to a map of the two experiences, we have described Monte San Salvatore and Lugano in more detail and supplemented them with historical and other information. We have also listed when you can go on each of the experiences. The highlights and the MANU tip provide you with additional information.

On the right you can see the corresponding timetable booklet. Here you will find an example connection. Underneath the timetable, you will find an additional sign (*!+) indicating how often the connection runs or what else you need to be aware of. Below that we have listed other experiences with opening times and possible costs, as well as the addresses and telephone numbers of the tourist offices where you can get even more information.

On the left you can see the description of the hike "On the Appenzeller Joke Trail" in Eastern Switzerland. The hikes are each illustrated with a map showing the route geographically. You will also find details of the approximate walking time between each place and what services each place offers. Please be aware that these times are the pure walking time and that you have to add all breaks. Of course, information on the type of hike, as well as an altitude profile are also shown. Please also note our information on mountain hikes and the corresponding equipment under Things to know from A to Z.

In the timetable booklet you will again find the times we recommend for carrying out the walk.

You will receive your travel documents by e-mail about 3 weeks before arrival. With the link in the email you can download your urlaubsMANU script and timetable booklet. This way you can prepare for your mountain holidays in advance at your leisure. Please do not print out these documents, as you will receive both booklets in printed form on site at the hotel.

If you would also like to have your travel documents sent to your home by post, please indicate this when booking. We charge EUR 20 per booking for this service.
