The Three Lakes Region is made for visiting the many surrounding towns and sights by boat. Most of the boat trips of the Neuchâtel Navigation Company (LMN) start from Neuchâtel. From here, the excursion boats glide along the Zihl Canal towards Lake Biel, along the Broye Canal onto Lake Murten or across Lake Neuchâtel, the largest lake completely within Switzerland, to Yverdon-les-Bains.

One of the highlights is undoubtedly a trip on the Belle Epoque saloon steamer "Neuchâtel", which sails several times a week on one of the three lakes in the Jura. The ship is specially built low so that it can pass all the bridges on the Zihl and Broye canals. The chimney of the ship can be folded down for this purpose and the ventilators can be dismantled.

MANU inclusive service

During their stay in Western Switzerland, all MANU guests benefit from 6 or 13 days of free travel on the Lake Neuchâtel, Lake Biel and Lake Murten scheduled boats of the Neuchâtel Navigation Company (LNM). This also includes free travel on the Belle Epoque paddle steamer "Neuchâtel". The boats run regularly on all three lakes and can be used flexibly for excursions of all kinds.

In addition, all guests receive a boat trip on the Lac des Brenets from Les Brenets to the waterfall "Saut du Doubs" (one return trip).

On all boat routes, you can enjoy dreamlike views of the surrounding vineyards, the Jura mountain range and the natural lakeside landscapes reflected in the crystal-clear lake water.

The ships operating on Lakes Neuchâtel, Biel and Murten are operated by different shipping companies. The ships operated by Neuchâtel Navigation (LMN) are considered MANU inclusive services. This also includes the Belle Epoque saloon steamer "Neuchâtel".

For a one-week stay you have 6 days free travel, for a two-week stay you enjoy 13 days free travel. The free travel applies to the days of the stay, but not on the day of arrival and departure.

Many ships offer drinks, snacks and meals.
